VALENTINES

Valentines Day In Different Countries

In USA, UK, Canada, Mexico, France and Australia St. Valentines Day is national holiday. But in different countries people have different traditions on this day.

In Austria the boys had to perform the girl they like to their parents …using only flowers. The flowers and its special structure had to express the girls’ character.
In Spain the husbands had to send a bunch of red roses to their wives, no matter how far away they were each other on that day.
In Denmark the people preferred the “invisible cards”. It was possible to read the message only if you heat the card. You can do the same if you use lemon juice to write.
The French people had special ceremony for the unmarried girls and boys. They had to paint or make theirs photo and to hang it on door of the person who they like. If he or she doesn’t like them has to burn this photo till the end of the day.
In Italy a time ago, people celebrated a Spring Festival. They played music, sung songs. In Torino still most of the couples engage on this date. Also they buy a lot of cookies to decorate the table and the house.
In Scotland there is a festival on St. Valentine’s Day. Unmarried boys and girls wrote their names on papers. Each one of them had to choose a piece and to spend the rest of the festival with this girl.
In Australia they had a special custom. If somebody finds gold in this day he had to pay the Valentines Cards to the rest of the unmarried men. Of course, having in mind that they didn’t have to pay for these cards they’ve ordered always the most beautiful and the most expensive ones-with silk, ribbons, golden letters.
In England most of the magazines and newspapers publish different poems and songs. In Wells the boys and the girls make wooden love spoons and give them as a gift on February 14.Hearts ,,keys and lockers are the most traditional decorations because their clear meaning is “Unlock my heart.”.

"Re-imposition of Death Penalty in the Philippines"

Aquino to study possible reimposition of death penalty

January 19, 2011, 5:26pm

MANILA, Philippines (PNA) — President Benigno S. Aquino III on Wednesday said he will study the re-imposition of death penalty in the wake of calls from various groups following several heinous crime cases recently.
In an interview at the 65th Founding Anniversary of the Liberal Party at Club Filipino in San Juan City, the President expressed concern over the reimplementation of the capital punishment, saying that in the present judicial system, suspects who do not have the ability to secure the services of competent lawyers are prone to be wrongly convicted.
“I will have to study that, and I don’t know where the calls are emanating from but iyong essence nito, our judicial system, as you know, is not perfect,” the President said.
The Chief Executive said that death penalty can only be fully applied in a perfectly-existing judicial system.
For the past two decades the President had many discussions regarding the issue, including that with his mother, the late former President Corazon C. Aquino.
“I had so many discussions from way back, siguro close to two decades, and including discussions with my mother in that aspect. At the end of the day, I used to support death penalty. But I really witnessed also justice that was not perfect, so I have to change my position that since we cannot turn back the clock if we execute somebody, then we shouldn’t, in the off chance that we might render that penalty to somebody who was not guilty,” the President noted.
Capital punishment in the Philippines was abolished on June 24, 2006, the second time since 1987.
Since it was reintroduced in 1993, seven people have been executed. Abolition of the death penalty has generally occurred in correlation with increasing democratization in nation-states around the world.
As of 2005, a majority of states (122) were abolitionist, and a minority (73) retained the death penalty.

post to release tablet PC's at an affordable price

The Consumer Electronics Show 2011 from Las Vegas was a real feast of tablets, reports indicating that the event had close to 100 different tablets showcased. The star of the event turned out to be the upcoming first
Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablet, the Motorola Xoom.

Motorola Xoom proved to be the highlight of CES 2011 also, probably due to the fact that this tablet is going to be the pioneer for the upcoming tablet optimized Android 3.0 platform. The device didn’t disappoint with its specs either, promising to be the next true competitor for Apple’s iPad.

And release of this tablet PC's at an affordable price right now would be impossible, but IF...  then it would be a the happiest day of my life!

Samsung also released tablet PC's last year 2010, and my sister has been "eye-ing" it the moment it was placed in the window shelf.

all i can say is that. excellent quality, comes with a great price.

why me?

And she said......

There's this sudden rush of adrenaline in me..
Like lightning traveling in my vains.

I feel the need of you..
every inch of you..
Inside and out..

Without you.. It's not just the same..
I just don't know how to explain why i need you so
But maybe...

It's because..

i simply..LOVE YOU.
